We do not sell nor will we sell customer information!

The basis of each customer relationship at founders Bank is trust.  Many of our customer relationships span several generations.  You have chosen to do business with Founders Bank and we are obligated to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the informatino you have chosen to share with us.  We believe that your privacy should not be compromised.  We want you to know that we do not sell nor will we sel customer information.  At the same time, we want to offer you the array of financial products and services you need to accomplish yiour financial goals.  We believe we can do both through the privacy policy outlined below.

Our Committment

We recognize your right to privacy and we recognize that you have a right to expect your personal financial information to remain private and secure.  At Founders Bank we maintain standards of conduct to ensure that your information is private and secure at all times.

Collection of Information

We obtain nonpublic information from you in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.  For example, non public personal information includes information regarding your account balance, payment history, and overdraft history.  we may collect information about you from the following sources:  Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms; information about your transactions with us or others; and information wer receive from third parties such as credit bureaus.

Restrictions on the Sharing of Information

we are permitted under law to disclose nonpublic persnal information about you to "nonaffiliated third parties" (i.e., third parties that are not members of our corporate family) in certain circumstances.  For example, we may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to third parties to assist us in servicing your loan or account with us; to regulatory agencies; to government entities in response to subpeonas; and to credit bureaus.  We may report information about your account to credit bureaus.  Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account may be reflected in your credit report.  On a very limited basis, we may disclose any of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements, such as Elan Financial Services (our credit card provider).  We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to any other third parties, except as permitted by law.

Continuing the Commitment

If at any time you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policy and practices in this notice.

Standards of conduct in our Business Relationships

Founders Bank requires its vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided to them.  Please refer to the Elan Privacy Policy for details about their credit card program.

Accuracy of Data

Founders Bank continuously strives to maintain complete and accurate information about you and your account.  Should you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please notify us.  We will investigate your concerns and correct any inaccuracies.

Employee Involvement

Founders Bank employee access to personally identifiable customer information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information.  employees are educated in the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and on these principles of privacy.  Because of the importance of these issues, all Founders Bank employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information.

Founders Bank is committed to the security of your financial and personal information.  All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties.  We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with federal security standards.
